Andrea Ahl is a Louisville, KY based Makeup Artist; specializing in film, commercials, photography, events and in salon services. As a licensed cosmetologist for 25 plus years and with a background in design; she uses these skills to provide individuals & productions ways to bring their needs to life. When hiring her for your project she not only brings talent and education but also a connection to her community. She has spent many years studying color theory and other areas of the film industry and has found a unique way to bring it into what she does. It is important for her to be thorough in her job and bring the best to her clients and the teams she works with. Her clients love her professionalism and knowledge of her craft. She’s easy to get along with and uses lifestyle and desires to create the right look.
Being on set is her second home and she has a passion and understanding for the industry. While her main focus is hair, makeup and SFX. She has Assistant Directed, worked as a Producer, in the Art Department and done Production Design. Watching a script come to life is her true love and passion.
When she is not on set, she spends time in the salon making her beautiful clients just a little more beautiful. Providing color and cutting services, along with waxing, hair extensions and more. It's her goal to listen to her clients needs and bring them to life.
